Critiques
It's really great work, Advance Wars is one of my favorite games ever, one of the reasons was it's graphics, which you've managed to capture really well. Great work on bazooka details, and the interface, which reminds a lot of original.
I don't mind the fact that emotes are copy paste, after all, they are supposed to be game sprites, so there's no different sprite for each soldier in the game.
The background looks very good, only it could be more cartoonish style, but again, i can't remember how it looked in the game.
Great work, really made me reminisce over old games i used to spend a lot time playing.
It looked very awesome and I gaved 5 stars for Technique, but when I noticed that you used the same BG on both sides I removed half star. If you look closely you can notice that they are mirrored. Apart that the BG looks great I think you should have made the road and shadow (from the fence) a bit darker.
To bad emotes are copy paste you should have made the bullet shells by the red ones look difrently.
HUD is well done nothing bad here.
Personaly I nver played THIS game. I have played a similar one Military Madness.
